Start by sketching your faux gingerbread house design on a piece of paper. Decide on the size and shape of your house including any windows or doors you’d like to incorporate. Be as creative as you’d like – think about all the fun details you can add. Transfer your design onto the foam core board using a pencil and ruler.

Step 2:  Cut Pieces & Assemble Faux Gingerbread House(s)

Carefully cut out the pieces from your foam core with a utility knife. You will need at least 6 pieces including 4 walls and two roof panels. Remember to also cut out any windows or doors you designed. Now is also the time to cut the trees and gingerbread people who will live in your faux gingerbread house village. Use Aleene’s Tacky Glue to assemble the pieces of your house. Once the walls are secure, attach the roof panels. Be sure to hold the pieces in place until the glue sets.
