DIY Barbie Décor: Upcycled Pink Dresser

Begin your Barbie décor DIY by preparing your dresser to be spray painted. Set up your work area in a well-ventilated area with a protective surface cover to protect from overspray. Remove any hardware, then lightly sand the dresser for maximum spray paint adhesion. Clean the dresser to remove any dust or debris, then use COLORSHOT White Primerto create a solid white base.

Once the primer has dried to the touch, begin painting your pink dresser! COLORSHOT in Farmer’s Daughter is the perfect shade of pink for this Barbie décor. Shake the can well for at least 1 minute and spray in smooth, even strokes. Allow the paint to dry to the touch and apply additional coats as desired. Apply a light coat of COLORSHOT in Treasure Chest to give the hardware a subtle, metallic gold shine. This will tone down the bright yellow into a shimmery mustard color. Allow to dry completely.
