Make sure desk base is free of dust before spray painting
To get the full tutorial on how Handmade Haven built her own sawhorse desk, visit her post. You can modify the dimensions she used to fit your own space! If you’re doing your own thing, you can get the quick spray-painting project deets here. Make sure your base is clean and free of any dust and debris, especially if you’re building your own set of sawhorse legs. Even though COLORSHOT already has primer in it, depending on the materials you’re working with, you might want to basecoat with Primer first.
Let spray paint cure before adding shelves and fixtures
Spray several light coats of color versus one heavy coat to avoid any color drips. Once you are happy with your coverage, let dry and cure completely before securing the top of your desk or attaching any additional shelving or fixtures.
