Easy Lantern Makeover

COLORSHOT Lantern Makeover

You might be able to tell from our list of projects that we're all about ambiance when it comes to, well, everything, but a dinner party in particular! Lanterns are such a pretty way to add in some extra light without being overbearing to your guests; no one wants a spotlight in their face while wolfing down their smoked salmon. Coordinate your lanterns with your party table with an easy spray paint makeover using COLORSHOT. You won't regret it, and neither will your friend Joe, who's hoping no one notices the butter stain on his sweater vest with all of the mood lighting around the table.

What you need:

- COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint (we used Lucky Penny)

- Metal lanterns

Lanterns BEFORE.

Make sure your lanterns are clean and free of any dust. If your lanterns have glass, you'll want to make sure to tape over the glass to protect from paint (unless of course, you want to paint the glass).

COLORSHOT Easy Lantern Makeover

Spray several light coats of spray paint onto the lantern frame, letting dry in between coats. Remove tape (if used) and let dry completely.
