If you’re looking to spray paint a coat rack you already have, first make sure it’s clean and free of any dust. Remove or tape off any parts or sections that you don’t want painted, or painted a different color. Depending on what material your coat rack is made of, you might want to spray it with Primer first for an extra layer the spray paint can really grab onto. (Especially if the rack has a slick surface.)

Spray several light coats of COLORSHOT spray paint onto your coat rack instead of one heavy coat to avoid drips and color pooling. Once you’re happy with the coverage, allow it to completely cure before using. For a coat rack that adds a lot of interest to your space like Ashley created, try going with an unexpected bold shade that still vibes with your home’s color scheme.
