How To Spray Paint Glass with COLORSHOT

Spray paint is a quick and easy way to give items a whole new look without spending a ton of money or effort. If you're wondering how to spray paint glass to get the best results, we have some super simple tips for you using COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint for head-turning color that lasts.

What you need:

- COLORSHOT Premium Spray Paint (we used Summer Pedicure and Primer)

- Glass item

- Drop cloth or protective plastic covering

- Painter's tape (optional)

Glass planter before

Make sure your item is clean and free of any dust. To create a striped pattern like we did, try using painter's tape to mask off the sections you don't want painted.

Glass planter after

First spray a basecoat of primer onto the glass item to create a smooth base your color can adhere to. Let your base dry. Spray several light coats of color versus one heavy coat, letting dry between coats. Tip: Shake the can of spray paint vigorously for at least 1 minute before beginning to apply color, then continuously shake the can while applying color for best results.

When you are happy with your coverage, remove the tape and let dry completely.
